The Counseling Center is a GREAT resource for support for all Tech students.
The Counseling Center offers a group for LGBTQ students each year ("Connections") to help gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning students. The group is designed to help students examine aspects of their relationships with others and themselves in exploring issues such as coming-out, developing relationships, family issues, and other concerns.

Any interested students should contact Dr. Perez for an initial screening. This group is designed for gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered and questioning individuals who are interested in finding support and learning more about themselves and others.

A Group for GLBT People Exploring and Expanding Relationships with Ourselves, Friends, Partners, and Community This group is offered to help gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered people take a look at their relationships and what they want from them, be they friendships, love relationships, or dealing with the larger community. The group is open to all students and is designed to help members look inwards, towards what might be going on internally that influences external connections, as well as outwards towards others. In order to join the group, prospective members must contact Dr. Barber to arrange an initial meeting.
